About Test University
A specialist postgraduate university at the intersection of management, technology, and economics.
Test University is a specialist postgraduate university in Singapore focused on the intersection of management, technology, and economics. Founded in 2009, TU educates working professionals and high-potential graduates for leadership in Asia's digital economy through three schools: the School of Business, the School of Information Systems, and the School of Economics.
Mission
To prepare analytically grounded, technology-fluent leaders for the industries shaping Asia. We treat quantitative rigour and management judgement as one discipline, not two — and we measure our work by the practical decisions our graduates are able to make.
Our model
TU is small by design. Students move through their programme in a single cohort, which keeps the campus collaborative rather than competitive. Teaching is built around small cohorts, applied capstones, and close links to employers across Asia and the wider APAC region. Most modules end in a project assessed against a real or realistic brief.
Founding story
TU was founded in 2009 by Dr. John Doe and Dr. Ani Smith, two economists who believed Asia needed a graduate school that treated data fluency and management judgement as a single discipline rather than two. They began with a single programme in management and forty students in a shophouse near Stalford Walk.
The university now spans three schools and five flagship master's programmes, but the founding idea is unchanged: rigorous quantitative training in service of practical decisions.
