Campus & community

Campus life

A small, collaborative campus in one of the world's safest cities. Here is what living and studying at TU is like.

Campus culture

TU is small by design. Students move through their programme in a single cohort, which makes the campus collaborative rather than competitive. The student body is international and mid-career-leaning, and English is the working language across all schools.

  • A cohort model: students take core modules together and build a tight professional network.
  • Active student clubs spanning consulting, product, data science, finance, entrepreneurship, and cultural societies.
  • Regular guest sessions with employers, founders, and alumni hosted on campus.
  • A culture of applied work: most modules end in a project assessed against a real or realistic brief.

Safety & wellness

  • 24/7 campus security and a staffed reception at the Stalford Walk building.
  • On-campus Health & Counselling Centre offering free, confidential counselling and a nurse-led clinic.
  • Mandatory health insurance for all international students; TU offers a group plan at enrolment.
  • A 24-hour student support line and a clear escalation path for emergencies, harassment, or wellbeing concerns.
  • Singapore is consistently ranked among the safest cities in the world, with low crime and reliable public services.

Housing & student life

TU does not guarantee on-campus housing but operates two managed residences and supports off-campus searches through its housing office.
