Student support

From the moment you accept an offer, TU supports your arrival, your settling in, and your career. Here is what to expect.

Arrival & living logistics

  • Transport: an EZ-Link / SimplyGo card covers MRT and buses; students live across the island and commute easily.
  • Banking: students can open a local account on arrival with their passport, Student's Pass, and a TU enrolment letter.
  • Connectivity: prepaid SIMs are cheap and available at the airport and convenience stores.
  • Cost of living: budget roughly SGD 1,800–2,500 per month including rent, food, and transport.
